Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This cookie policy explains how Tower Defense Hub uses cookies and similar browser storage, what each is for, and how you can control them.
Cookies and localStorage
Cookies are small files that websites place in your browser. localStorage is a similar feature that lets a website save information inside your browser on your device. This site uses localStorage for its own features, and advertising or analytics services may use cookies if they are configured and you consent to them.
Essential storage used by the site
The following items are saved in your browser's localStorage so the site works as expected. They are needed for features you use, they stay on your device, and they are never sent to us:
- Favourites: the games you have marked as favourites.
- Recently played: a list of up to 10 games you played recently.
- Theme: your choice of light, dark or system theme.
- Sound: whether game sound is on or off.
- Best scores and best waves: your personal records in each game.
- Daily challenge results: your results in the Daily Tower Defense Challenge.
- Cookie-consent choice: whether you accepted or rejected advertising and analytics cookies, so we do not ask again on every page.
Because these items are essential to the features you use and never leave your device, they do not depend on your advertising consent.
Advertising cookies
The site is prepared for Google AdSense. Advertising loads only after the site operator configures an AdSense publisher ID, and only after you consent. If you reject advertising cookies, ads that rely on them are not loaded.
When advertising is active and you have consented, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. You can:
- opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings;
- learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Analytics cookies
Analytics is off. If an analytics service is configured in the future, it will load only after you consent, and this policy and our privacy policy will be updated to name it.
Your consent
When you first visit the site, a consent banner lets you accept or reject advertising and analytics cookies. Your choice is saved in localStorage.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change your mind at any time:
- use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to reopen your choices; or
- clear this site's data in your browser settings. This removes your consent choice (and your saved favourites, records and settings), and the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Withdrawing consent stops advertising and analytics cookies from being used from that point on. Cookies already set by third parties can also be removed through your browser settings.
Managing storage in your browser
Most browsers let you view and delete cookies and site data, block cookies from particular sites, or block third-party cookies entirely. The exact steps depend on your browser; look for "cookies" or "site data" in its settings or help pages. Blocking essential storage may mean the site cannot remember your settings or records.
