Entertainment and general gaming information

The games on this site are made for entertainment. The guides, category pages and game descriptions provide general gaming information about tower defense and about our own games. Nothing on the site is professional advice of any kind.

Fictional themes and terminology

Tower defense is a genre built on fictional conflict, and our games use that language freely. You will read about castles and sieges in Medieval Castle Defense, desert outposts and radar in Desert Defense, a safe zone under attack in Zombie Defense, railguns and missiles in Space Defense, and many kinds of towers, weapons and enemies across all fifteen games.

All of this is fiction. Terms such as "defense", "military", "siege", "weapons", "armour", "base" or "outpost" describe game mechanics and nothing more. The content on this site is not military, security, engineering or real-world defense advice and should never be used as such. Towers, enemies and their statistics do not represent real equipment, and game rules such as how armour reduces damage are simplifications designed to make a game fun, not descriptions of the real world.

Strategy advice is opinion

Our strategy guides are based on our own games and our own play. The rules and numbers they describe are checked against our games (see our fact-checking policy), but the advice itself is opinion. A tactic that works well in our games may not work, or may work differently, in other tower defense games, which have their own rules for things like armour, slows, upgrades and economy. Even within our games, there is usually more than one good way to win.

No affiliation

Tower Defense Hub is an independent site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any other game developer or publisher. Our games are original and are inspired only by the tower defense genre in general. Any mention of the genre's history or of general conventions is for informational purposes only.
