Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This privacy policy explains what information Tower Defense Hub handles when you use the site, why, and what choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and plain. The short version: there are no accounts, your game data stays on your device, and advertising or analytics cookies are used only if they are configured and you agree to them.
No accounts or registration
You do not need to create an account, register or sign in to use any part of the site. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details in order to play the games or read the guides.
Information stored on your device
To make the site work the way you expect, some information is saved in your browser's localStorage. localStorage is storage inside your own browser on your own device. The site stores:
- your favourite games;
- your recently played games (up to 10);
- your theme choice (light, dark or system);
- your sound setting;
- your best scores and best waves;
- your Daily Tower Defense Challenge results;
- your cookie-consent choice.
This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us, and we cannot see it. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings; doing so will reset your favourites, records and settings.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, you submit your name, your email address, a subject and your message. The form is handled by a third-party form-processing service, which receives what you submit and delivers it to us. We use this information only to read and answer your message, and it is not used for marketing. The form-processing service is named below.
Form processor: the form-processing service will be named here before the contact form is activated. Until then, the form does not send submissions anywhere.
We keep messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, such as a correction or a copyright report. You may ask us to delete your message through the contact page.
Advertising
The site is prepared to show advertising through Google AdSense. Ads load only after the site operator has configured an AdSense publisher ID, and only if you consent.
When advertising is active, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Analytics
Analytics is switched off. If the site operator configures an analytics service in the future, it will run only after you consent, and this policy will be updated to name it.
Your consent choices
When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or reject advertising and analytics cookies. Your choice is saved in localStorage. You can change it at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser. More detail is in our cookie policy.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Children
The site does not ask for personal information to play, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, please let us know and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable law to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to its use. Since the only personal information we receive directly is what you send through the contact form, you can exercise these rights by getting in touch through the contact page.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the way the site handles information changes, for example when a form-processing service, advertising or analytics is activated. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
