Medieval Castle Defense
An army is marching on your castle along three roads at once. Each wave splits its soldiers between the northern, central and southern lanes, and all three meet at the castle gate.
Medieval Castle Defense is about spreading your defenses without spreading them too thin. Knights wear heavy armor, Siege Rams deal 4 damage to the castle if they reach it, and Battle Priests heal the soldiers around them. The Siege Tower boss arrives on wave 16.

Towers
- Archer Tower50 gold. Cheap arrows to cover every lane.
- Ballista100 gold. Ignores armor. The answer to Knights and Rams.
- Cannon80 gold. Splash damage, best where lanes merge.
- Mage Tower100 gold. Chain lightning jumps between soldiers.
Every tower sells for 70% of everything spent on it. Upgrade costs are shown on the upgrade button.
Enemies
- SoldierStandard infantry.
- RaiderFast cavalry.
- KnightArmor 6.
- Siege RamVery tough and slow; 4 castle damage.
- Battle PriestHeals nearby enemies.
- Siege Tower (boss)Wave 16. Unloads soldiers every few seconds and knights at 66% health.
Strategy Tips
- The central lane and the southern lane share the final stretch in front of the gate. Cannons placed there hit two lanes of traffic.
- Give each outer lane at least one Archer early. An undefended lane leaks every enemy sent down it.
- Ballistas are worth their price from wave 4: Knights have armor 6 and Siege Rams armor 2 plus a huge health pool.
- Set one Ballista to Strongest so it focuses Rams and the Siege Tower instead of Soldiers.
- Battle Priests (wave 9 onward) should die first. Use First targeting near the entry so they are hit before reaching the group.
About Medieval Castle Defense
Castle Defense is our multi-lane game. Its three routes differ in length, so enemies arrive at the gate at different times, and the best layouts use a few towers that can reach two lanes at once.
The medieval setting, castle and units are all original vector art. The game is fiction: siege units and towers are gameplay concepts, not historical or military advice.
