Kingdom Defender
Kingdom Defender is our classic tower defense game and the best place to start. A single winding road runs through a green valley, and every wave of raiders follows it toward your castle. You place towers beside the road, earn gold from every defeated enemy, and spend it on more towers and upgrades.
There are four towers, four enemy types and fifteen waves, ending with a boss: the Warlord. The rules are simple, but tower placement and when to upgrade still decide whether you finish with all 20 lives.

How to Play
- Pick a tower from the build bar (or press 1–4). Highlighted tiles show where you can build; you cannot build on the road.
- Tap a tile next to the road to build. The circle shows the tower's range before you place it.
- Press Start Wave (N) when you are ready. Enemies follow the road; towers fire automatically.
- Defeated enemies give gold, and clearing a wave gives a bonus. Spend it on new towers or tap a tower to upgrade it (3 levels).
- Enemies that reach the castle cost lives. Survive all 15 waves to win.

Towers
- Archer Post50 gold. Fast arrows (1.2 per second, range 2.6). Cheap, reliable damage.
- Bombard80 gold. Shells explode and damage every enemy in the blast.
- Frost Tower70 gold. Slows enemies in a small area by 35% (up to 55% at level 3).
- Ballista100 gold. Heavy bolts that ignore armor completely.
Every tower sells for 70% of everything spent on it. Upgrade costs are shown on the upgrade button.
Enemies
- FootmanThe standard raider. Balanced health and speed.
- ScoutFast and fragile. Slow it down or it slips past.
- BruteSlow, with a large health pool.
- IroncladArmor 5: small hits lose most of their damage.
- The Warlord (boss)Arrives on wave 15, calls guards at 66% health and charges at 33%.
Strategy Tips
- Build at the U-bends. A tower placed inside a bend covers two or three stretches of road.
- Open with two or three Archer Posts. They are the cheapest damage per gold in the early waves.
- Add one Frost Tower before wave 4 (the Scout wave). Slowed Scouts spend longer in range of everything else.
- Save a Ballista for wave 6 and later. Ironclads have armor 5, so a 10-damage arrow only deals 5.
- Upgrade towers that sit in the middle of the route. They see every enemy and have time to use the extra damage.
- Keep 100–150 gold spare before wave 15 so you can react when the Warlord summons his guard.
About Kingdom Defender
Kingdom Defender is built on the Tower Defense Hub engine with a data-driven map, original vector art and procedurally generated sound. The route never changes, so the challenge is pure planning: where to place four kinds of tower and when to upgrade them.
The difficulty climbs gently. Enemy health rises a little each wave, new enemy types are introduced one at a time with an on-screen tip, and the boss wave combines everything you have seen. It is short enough to finish in one sitting, which makes it good for learning the genre and for trying placement ideas from our guides.
