Elemental Defense
Elemental Defense is a puzzle hidden inside a tower defense game. You build four elemental towers (Fire, Ice, Lightning and Earth), and every enemy type resists some elements and fears others. A Magma Crawler barely notices fire, while a Gale Sprite takes 50% extra from ice.
The towers also combine. Earth damage against a chilled enemy triggers Shatter for +50%. Lightning against a burning enemy triggers Overload for +40%. Placing the right towers next to each other can double your damage.

Enemies
- Arcane WispNo resistances.
- Magma CrawlerTakes only 20% of fire damage, but 130% from ice.
- Gale SpriteFast. Takes 150% from ice and 80% from lightning.
- Stone GolemArmor 7. Takes 50% from lightning and 80% from earth.
- Ward Spirit80-point shield. Takes 80% from fire.
- Prism Elemental (boss)Wave 20. Resists every element by 20%, raises a ward at 66%, summons Gale Sprites at 33% and regenerates.
Strategy Tips
- Pair every Earth Tower with an Ice Tower nearby. Shatter only triggers on chilled enemies, and Earth's splash spreads it to the whole group.
- Place Lightning just after a Fire Tower along the path, so enemies arrive already burning and take Overload damage.
- Stone Golems resist lightning and have armor 7: Fire (burn ignores armor) and Shatter combos are the way through.
- Ward Spirits' shields fall quickly to Lightning, which deals double damage to shields.
- Mixed waves are the real test after wave 10. A layout with all four elements near each bend handles anything.
About Elemental Defense
Elemental Defense adds three systems on top of the shared engine: per-element resistance multipliers, status tracking (chilled and burning) and combo rules checked on every hit. Combo text pops up on the map so you can see when your layout is working.
It is rated hard because a random mix of towers performs poorly. Once you understand the resistances, it becomes one of the most satisfying games on the site.
