Robot Defense
Hostile machines are marching on the energy core. Robot Defense is our hardest single-path game: Shield Bots regenerate their shields, Elite Bots combine armor with shields, and some waves arrive with an EMP Storm that knocks towers offline or an Overclock that makes every robot 25% faster.
In return, every tower has an upgrade tree. After level 3 you choose one of two specialisations, such as a Tesla Coil that jumps to eight targets or one that hits hard enough to stun.

How to Play
- Pick a tower (1–4) and tap a highlighted tile beside the track.
- Start waves with N. Read the wave banner: it warns you about EMP Storms and Overclock.
- Tap a tower to upgrade it. At level 3 the panel shows two specialisation buttons for level 4.
- During EMP Storms, towers under a red warning circle go offline for a few seconds.
- Protect the core for 18 waves, including the Overseer boss.

Towers
- Laser95 energy. Continuous beam. Level 4: Overdrive Lens (more damage) or Piercing Emitter (range, ignores armor).
- Tesla Coil100 energy. Chain lightning, double damage to shields. Level 4: Storm Coil (8 jumps) or Capacitor (huge hits, can stun).
- Missile Rack110 energy. Homing splash. Level 4: Cluster Payload (wide blasts) or Hunter Seeker (long-range armor-piercing).
- Pulse Tower90 energy. Damages every robot around it. Level 4: Shock Ring (damage) or Stasis Field (adds a 45% slow).
Every tower sells for 70% of everything spent on it. Upgrade costs are shown on the upgrade button.
Enemies
- Scout BotStandard robot.
- Fast BotQuick and small.
- Heavy BotTough, armor 3.
- Shield Bot90-point shield that slowly regenerates.
- Elite BotArmor 5 plus a shield.
- The Overseer (boss)Wave 18. Fires telegraphed EMP blasts, raises a shield matrix at 66% and deploys interceptors at 33%.
Strategy Tips
- Build a Tesla Coil before wave 4. Shield Bots regenerate, and Tesla's double damage to shields is the fastest way through.
- Pulse Towers belong inside bends where the track passes on both sides.
- Spread towers out. EMP Storms and the Overseer's blasts disable towers in a circle, so a tight cluster can go dark all at once.
- Pick specialisations to cover gaps: if you lack armor-piercing, the Piercing Emitter or Hunter Seeker fills it.
- Overclock waves (9 and 15) reward slows: a Stasis Field Pulse Tower cancels most of the speed boost.
About Robot Defense
Robot Defense showcases three engine features: branching upgrade trees, regenerating enemy shields and wave events. It expects you to read the wave warnings and adapt, which is why it is rated hard.
Every robot, tower and effect is drawn procedurally. The game's energy, EMP and Overclock mechanics are fictional gameplay systems.
